Coach Deserved It’s Own Review

My first thoughts on Coach? An enthusiastic yet admittedly surprised “What???!!!” The last time I got excited about Coach I’d been treated to a very appropriate pink, logo drenched sneaker and purse set during a trip to Neiman Marcus with my flashy fly uncle who picked up an equally loud Burberry golf suit. It was a sign of the times.

This season Coach delivered a warm, cozy and functional “Run This Town” look. Maybe it’s the black bandanas as neck adornments or the utility footwear that make it feel like you can channel “bad gal” Rihanna vibe while covering your nipples and protecting yourself from the vortex that is NYC at the same damn time.

Stuart Vevers, coach’s creative director, is really outdoing himself.

The shearling details, cooler-than-thou tartan prints and juxtaposition between luxe and rugged seen on fur lined leather is enough to make up for the fact that while we’re in the trenches of sub-zero temperatures…we’re showcasing clothes for when the Winter will inevitable come again. At least we’ll be cute?

There’s one thing that’s clear, the Coach girl is not here for the games this season.
